During a visit to Nuremberg, an American tourist carelessly kills a kitten belonging to a Native American woman. She curses him, and soon after, he becomes trapped in a medieval torture device—a deadly Iron Virgin. As the contraption slowly closes, the curse seems to fulfill itself with gruesome precision. The story is graphic and vengeful, a morality tale on cruelty and arrogance. Stoker delivers a chilling blend of folklore and body horror.
